White Bear

What is Justice and who has the right to determine what is just and what is inhumane. I don't want to justify that what the Girl did didn't deserve punishment but I disagree with what she recives. My biggest problem was that the girl was being punished more than one time and that she did not know what she was being punished for. Also my biggest disagreement was that they were using her to get money and instead as doing it to have justice they were doing just as a profit.  What right did they have to use her as a profit. Is that what they called justice. Who decided that that was justice, and not immoral. It was scary to see how people behaved when they wanted justice, but it seemed like it was more of revenge then justice. Revenge is not justice, revenge is an inner demon that satisfy their anger.

  1. good post. You bring up a good point in relating justice to revenge. Often times when people say they want 'justice' for some crime, what they actually want is revenge. If you don't agree with her punishment, what kind of punishment would you recommend?
